My Memorable Trip to Singapore with My Family ✈️

When I was 8 years old, I went to Singapore with my family during the school holidays. I was extremely excited because it was my first time going overseas and also my first time riding an airplane. A few days before the trip, I already started packing my clothes and preparing my things because I could not wait for the day to come. Every day, I kept asking my parents when we were leaving because I was too excited.

On the day of the trip, we woke up very early in the morning and went to Kuala Lumpur International Airport. The airport looked very big and busy with many people carrying luggage everywhere. I felt so happy and nervous at the same time because it was my first experience taking a flight. My family and I took a flight with Malaysia Airlines to Singapore Changi Airport.

When I entered the airplane, I was very amazed because everything inside looked so interesting to me. I quickly sat near the window because I wanted to see the view outside. Before the airplane took off, my heart was beating fast because I felt nervous. However, when the airplane finally started moving and flew into the sky, I felt super excited. I looked outside the window and saw the clouds, buildings, and tiny cars below. The view was so beautiful and it made me feel very happy because it was my first time experiencing something like that.

After arriving in Singapore, I was shocked because the airport was so beautiful and modern. Singapore Changi Airport did not feel like a normal airport because everything looked luxurious and clean. The most unforgettable part was the huge indoor waterfall inside the airport. The waterfall was very tall and beautiful, and I could hear the sound of the water flowing loudly. I stood there for a long time because I was so amazed by it. Besides that, there was also a train moving inside the airport, which looked very cool to me. I remember thinking that Singapore’s airport looked like a place from the future because everything there was so advanced and pretty.

After that, my family brought me to see the famous Merlion statue. It was a huge lion statue that sprayed water from its mouth. I was very excited because I had always seen pictures of it before, but seeing it in real life felt different. There were many tourists taking pictures around the area, and my family also took many photos together there. The scenery was very beautiful, especially with the tall buildings and water surrounding the place.

The best part of the trip was when we visited Universal Studios Singapore. The moment I entered, I felt so excited because the place was colourful and full of fun attractions. There was music everywhere, people walking around happily, and many exciting rides.

One of my favourite rides was the roller coaster. At first, I felt scared because it looked very fast and high, but after riding it, I felt extremely happy and excited. The roller coaster moved so quickly, and I screamed loudly together with my family while the wind hit my face. Even though I was scared, it was one of the most fun experiences ever.

I also went on a 3D ride that had a story inside it. The effects were so realistic that I felt like I was inside the adventure itself. It was my first time experiencing a 3D ride, so I was very amazed and excited. Besides that, I played the carousel ride with the beautiful horses going around in circles while cheerful music played. Even though it was a simple ride, I still enjoyed it a lot because it felt magical and fun.

Other than that, I tried many other rides and attractions in Universal Studios. Some rides were exciting while some were scary. I even entered a haunted house with my family. Inside the haunted house, the lights were dark and there were scary sounds everywhere. I remember holding onto my family because I was scared that ghosts would suddenly appear. Even though I was frightened, it was still a fun experience and we laughed a lot afterward.

At night, my family and I went to a night market in Singapore. The place was very crowded and lively.

There were many stalls selling delicious street food, drinks, clothes, toys, keychains, magnets, and cute souvenirs. The smell of the food made me feel hungry immediately. We walked around together while looking at all the interesting things being sold. I also bought some souvenirs to bring home as memories from the trip.

The night view in Singapore was also very beautiful because the city lights were bright and colourful. I felt very happy spending time with my family there. We laughed together, took many pictures, ate delicious food, and created beautiful memories together.

This trip to Singapore will always be one of my favourite childhood memories because it was my first time going overseas and my first time riding an airplane. I had so much fun with my family, especially at Universal Studios and the beautiful airport. Until today, I still remember how excited and happy I felt during the trip.
