Last year, I went to ParaThai Elmina Lakeside Mall with my family, and honestly, the restaurant gave me a luxurious and comfortable vibe the moment I entered. The interior looked clean, modern, and slightly upscale, but at the same time still felt cozy for family dining. One thing I liked the most was how spacious the restaurant was. There were many seating areas available, including outdoor seating for customers who preferred a more open environment, while inside also had air-conditioned seating which felt more comfortable especially during hot weather.
Another thing I noticed was that the restaurant provided wet tissues on the table since there was no sink available nearby for washing hands. However, customers would be charged around 80 sen if they used the wet tissue, which I think is something good to know before dining there.
For drinks, we ordered green tea, Thai iced tea, and coconut water. The green tea and Thai iced tea were honestly very delicious. The taste felt very authentic and “pure Thai” compared to many other Thai restaurants I have tried before. The coconut water was also very refreshing because it was served directly in a real coconut, which made the experience feel more authentic and satisfying.

Even though the prices at ParaThai Elmina Lakeside Mall were slightly pricey, I personally think the food quality and dining experience made it worth the money. Overall, our total bill was around RM250 for a family meal. Most of the food prices ranged from around RM16.90 to RM64.90, while drinks were around RM7.90 to RM13.90.
One of the most iconic dishes there was definitely the famous Thai omelette that often appears on TikTok. Even though the price was around RM20+, the portion was actually huge. The omelette was thick, fluffy, and filled with both chicken and meat inside, making it very satisfying to eat and worth sharing with family members.
The tomyam was honestly one of my favourite dishes during the meal. The soup tasted creamy, rich, and full of flavour. The balance between spicy, sour, and creamy flavours was so good that it immediately stood out compared to many normal tomyam restaurants. It tasted very comforting and addictive, especially when eaten together with hot rice.
We also ordered stir-fried minced chicken with hot basil leaves, and this dish was surprisingly very delicious too. For me, the taste was slightly similar to ayam kicap but with a Thai-style flavour and aroma from the basil leaves. The chicken tasted savory, flavorful, and went really well with rice, making it one of the comforting dishes during the meal.
Overall, my experience at ParaThai Elmina Lakeside Mall was very enjoyable. The restaurant combines a slightly luxurious atmosphere with comforting Thai food, making it suitable for family dinners, casual gatherings, or even food hunting with friends. Even though some dishes were slightly expensive, I still think the overall quality, environment, and flavours made the experience worth trying.
