My Experience at Coach Café

 By Awliya

Recently, I went to Mitsui Outlet Park KLIA Sepang and one of the places I was most excited to visit was the famous Coach Café. As soon as I entered the outlet, the café immediately caught my attention because it was one of the first things you could see near the entrance. The café looked very clean, aesthetic, and modern, which honestly explains why so many people post about it on TikTok and FYP.

I was honestly feeling a little bit FOMO because I kept seeing people trying their famous iced chocolate drink online. What made the drink so cute and unique was the ice cube shaped with the letter “C,” and even the chocolate decoration on top was also shaped like a “C,” matching the iconic Coach branding. It looked so luxurious yet playful at the same time, which made me want to try it even more.

The overall café atmosphere was very aesthetic and trendy, especially for Gen Z. The interior had a clean luxury vibe with modern decorations and cozy seating areas that were perfect for taking pictures. I personally think the café concept suits all generations because it feels elegant but still fun and welcoming at the same time.

Besides the famous iced chocolate, the café also sold many other drinks such as matcha strawberry, latte, iced tea, espresso, and mocha. The drink prices ranged around RM12 to RM23, and the drink I ordered was RM23. Even though it was slightly pricey, I think the experience, presentation, and atmosphere made it worth trying at least once.

The café also had a dessert and food section that looked very tempting. They sold ice cream with unique flavors like apple pie, red velvet, nasi lemak, and peaches & cream, which I found very interesting because some flavors were uncommon and creative. The ice cream was priced around RM20.

For food and pastries, they had cinnamon rolls, donuts, crullers, beef hotdogs, and grilled cheese. One thing that caught my attention was their donut promotion where customers could get six donuts for RM45 instead of the usual RM72, which honestly sounded quite worth it if going with friends or family. The food prices were around RM12 to RM26 depending on the item.

The café also had a gift shop section that caught my attention because it felt like an extension of the brand lifestyle. They were selling a variety of items such as bottles, tote bags, pencil boxes, plates, T-shirts, hoodies, books, and pouches. Everything was very neatly displayed and had the same aesthetic, minimalist luxury vibe that matches the overall concept of the café. It honestly felt like you were stepping into a fashion lifestyle space rather than just a café, which made the whole experience even more interesting and unique.

My honest review about the famous iced chocolate, though, would probably be around 3/10. Even though the presentation looked very pretty and aesthetic, the taste personally did not meet my expectations. It did not really taste like a rich or authentic iced chocolate drink. To me, it tasted more like milk with a cheap chocolate bar mixed into it. The drink looked much better than it actually tasted, which was honestly a little disappointing considering the price. However, I still think many people would enjoy trying it at least once because of the overall café experience and aesthetic presentation.

What I liked most about Coach Café was not only the food and drinks, but also the whole experience. It felt like a café that combines fashion, lifestyle, and café culture together in a very stylish way. Even though it is connected to a luxury brand, the atmosphere still felt comfortable and enjoyable for everyone.

Overall, visiting Coach Café at Mitsui Outlet was such a fun experience for me. From the aesthetic interior to the creative menu and trendy presentation, I can understand why the café became popular on social media. It is definitely one of those places that feels exciting to visit, especially if you enjoy café hunting, fashion-inspired spaces, and trying aesthetically pleasing food and drinks.

  1. Usually Luxury cafe means for vibe and environment not the taste.
