Business Class with Malaysia Airlines ✈️

 I started my journey early in the morning from home to KLIA 1 because we needed to arrive at the airport at least 2–3 hours before boarding time. Since our house is quite far from the airport, I had to wake up at 5 AM to shower and get ready because the journey to the airport takes around 2 hours and our flight was in the morning.

My papa booked Business Class seats with Malaysia Airlines for our 8-hour flight so that we could travel more comfortably throughout the journey. Once we arrived at the airport, we immediately checked in our luggage at the Business Class counter and proceeded through immigration before heading to the next terminal, where an airport driver brought us to the departure area.

We were welcomed with a ride in a Mercedes-Benz car, which made the experience feel even more luxurious. After arriving, we went straight to the Golden Lounge to enjoy the food provided there before boarding the plane.

Once we finished eating, we headed to the waiting area and were invited to board the aircraft earlier than the other passengers. I sat by the window, which made me very excited because I really love looking at airplane wings during flights. At my seat, there was a blanket and a small pillow prepared for resting and sleeping since the seat could fully recline into a bed.

As a welcome drink, I was offered several choices such as plain water, soy milk, apple juice, and orange juice. I chose apple juice because it felt refreshing for the morning.

A few minutes later, the airplane took off and we finally reached the clouds. Soon after, we were served the iconic Malaysia Airlines satay with chicken and beef along with peanut sauce. We could also choose our drinks, and I picked soy milk because it is my favorite drink.

Next, we were served tempeh with bean sprouts, Famous Amos cookies, seri muka cake, and fresh fruits such as strawberries, berries, and oranges. After eating, I watched the entertainment screen provided at my seat. I opened the cartoon channel and watched Upin & Ipin because there were new episodes available. Headphones were also provided and connected to the TV.

After that, I reclined my seat using the seat control buttons and rested for a while since I had woken up very early to go to the airport.

Around lunchtime, a flight attendant woke me up for another meal. I was served rice with ayam masak merah along with carrots and cabbage. For dessert, we were given cheesecake with strawberry jam and fruits such as pineapple, berries, mango, and kiwi. I also received a small chocolate bar.

Later, I checked the direction map on the TV screen to see how far we still had to travel before arriving at our destination. Then I continued watching cartoons and opened the Lego Friends movie channel.

When it was time for Zohor prayer, I took my wuduk in the restroom and performed jamak taqdim prayer at my seat. Since I was sitting in Business Class, it felt more comfortable and spacious to pray on the airplane.

After praying, I continued relaxing while watching movies on the TV. In the evening, we were given the option to order any meal we wanted from the menu. I chose lamb chop, and it tasted very delicious, tender, and juicy. I also ordered an omelette with sausages as a side dish.

As usual, the flight attendants served more desserts and light snacks. This time, I was given bread and butter together with watermelon, mango, kiwi, berries, and fresh yogurt which made me feel refreshed.

After spending 8 hours on the airplane, we finally arrived at our destination. Before leaving the aircraft, the pilot wanted to take a photo with my younger sibling as a memory. It was such a sweet moment  maybe the pilot missed his own child.

Overall, I was very satisfied with the customer service from the flight attendants. They treated us so kindly and always checked whether we were comfortable or needed anything throughout the flight. It was truly an unforgettable and luxurious experience for me and my family.
